Nov 27 32 They plan to use 12 in floor tile for the job I am interested in some thoughts on some of the mixers I have seen for mixing the thinset I usually do only kitchens and bathrooms so have usually mixed with only a drill and mixer attached to it in a 5 gallon bucket But for this amount I think a different form of mixing is in orderI don t own the mixing stand/maching that this goes with I bought it because I wanted a bigger bucket than a typical 5 gallon I have used this bucket to mix entire 60b dry pack deck muck bags in one shot using the auger style mixing paddle Then entire back never got closer than 4 6 inches from the top never spilling a drop
